Physiospot Authors

As a Physiospot author you will post recently published clinically relevant article to one or more of our Physiospot research blogs.

For these positions we are looking for motivated physiotherapists with a good internet skills who are interested in keeping up to date with the latest research. As a Physiospot author you choose which specialist blog you would like to contribute to, which journals you would like to review, how often you would like to contribute and you will be fully supported by our current blog authors.

These are voluntary positions however there are a number of personal and professional benefits including keeping yourself up to date with new research and contributing to your own CPD by being an author, and highlighting clinically relevant research to the profession, therefore developing the profession by assisting in the implementation of evidence based practice.

Course Authors

As a course author you will write presentations and related learning material in your area of clinical expertise from which we can produce an online course.

We are looking for experienced physiotherapists to write presentations on different topics in a variety of clinical areas. With these presentations ideally you will need to either record audio for the presentation or provide a transcript so that we can record the audio. Ideally you will also provide learning outcomes, references and a short quiz but this is optional.

With these materials we will then produce and online course and sell it through CPDspot. This is a revenue sharing scheme between yourself and CPDspot where you will earn a percentage of takings from the sale of your course.

Transcribers

As a transcriber you will translate audio recorded from live presentations and courses into a written transcript.

For these positions you will be a student or qualified physiotherapist with your own computer and good computing skills. We will send you an audio file from a presentation and you will be required to listen to that audio and type out the transcript. You will then return the transcript to us.

You will be paid for this work and will also have the benefit of experiencing the presentation free of charge.

Australian Consultant

As our Australian consultant you will provide a contact for us in Australia to communicate with on CPD and EBP in the Australian physiotherapy profession.

You will be an experienced physiotherapist being at least 10 years qualified. You should have previous clinical experience and be involved in the education of physiotherapists. Ideally you will have an interest in e-learning and its' incorporation into the continued professional development of physiotherapists.

This is a voluntary position but should we get the opportunity to reward you for your work we most definitely will!

Developers

As one of our developers you will work on the development of CPDspot and its' associated projects.

This ones a long shot, but we are looking for developers with experience of HTML, CSS, MySQL and PHP to help us to put all our long list of ideas into action. We would prefer it if you were a physiotherapist but this is not essential. You will work remotely from us in your own location however should we need to meet we will travel to you.

This is a voluntary position but should we get the opportunity to reward you for your work we most definitely will! If you feel that you are the ideal candidate for this type of work and would like to be retained in our records for when we gain a funded project please do not hesitate to get in touch.
